I have a confession: tights and leggings are my fashion love language… until it’s time to actually put them on. Don’t get me wrong—I adore the look. My favorite character in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is Violet Beauregarde. I would argue that she is unfairly villainized; the girl just loves gum and has a dream! Plus, she is a little style icon. Who remembers her matching blueberry pantsuit with the contrasting red hat and belt? Plus, her bangs are hair goals. Donning the Petrol Blue color, I can embody Violet’s sartorial sass.
